The Global Citizen Project is an innovative opportunity for Rutgers-Camden students to take part in a “glocal” (global and local) experience. Starting in the fall semester, Rutgers-Camden students will participate in various service-learning activities in the city of Camden combined with seminars on Haitian culture. An integral part of the program is an alternative winter break experience to Saint-Marc, Haiti, to work with children at a local school.
If you are an individual with a global perspective on the one hand, and an appreciation for local solutions on the other, join the Global Citizen Project to play a meaningful role in advancing communities both in Camden and abroad.
