Learning Abroad Scholarships

Scholarship applications for the 2023-2024 Academic Year are now closed.

There are various scholarships available to Rutgers-Camden students planning to participate in a Learning Abroad or Study Away program. Scholarship awards range from $500 to the full cost of the program. The scholarship committee considers financial need, GPA, class standing, and short-answer responses. 

Be sure to complete your Learning Abroad or Study Away application in addition to the scholarship application below. Recipients must be enrolled in an approved Learning Abroad course to receive their award. Since a limited amount of funding is available, consider meeting with a financial aid counselor to discuss how your financial aid package can be applied to the Learning Abroad or Study Away course fee. To be considered for any of the following awards, please complete the application below.

Chancellor’s Scholarship This scholarship is intended to provide financial support to Rutgers-Camden students with high financial need. GPA, class standing and the strength of the student’s short-answer responses on the application are also considered. Students must be enrolled full time to be considered. Award amounts start at $500.  

Haddonfield Rotary Club Scholarship for Veterans The scholarship is open to a student veteran at Rutgers-Camden participating in a Learning Abroad or Study Away program. This award has been made possible by the Haddonfield Rotary Club and is valued at $2,000.

Edward P. and Carolyn Kiessling Scholarship This scholarship is available to Rutgers-Camden students participating in a Learning Abroad program. Academic merit and financial need are strongly considered. Award amounts range from $500-$1000.
