Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) offers a three-credit Fall 2024 course, both in class and online, on Doing Business in India, featuring an immersive 18-day international residency from January 5 to January 18, 2025, during our winter break.
This journey promises to ignite your curiosity, broaden your horizons, and create lasting memories. Open to both undergraduate and graduate business students, this course includes a captivating study trip to India, a nation known for its diverse culture, expansive population, burgeoning economy, and unique blend of traditional and modern business practices. Participants will explore the historical and economic landscapes of New Delhi, Agra (home of the Taj Mahal), Jaipur, and Hyderabad, where they will be hosted by Woxsen University. Renowned for its innovative education, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and emphasis on entrepreneurship and global business management, Woxsen University provides an ideal environment for aspiring business leaders.
The course offers a comprehensive analysis of the opportunities and challenges of conducting business in this dynamic emerging market, examining both macro and micro issues from a multidisciplinary perspective. Students will delve into the evolution of Indian society and economy, exploring trends that will shape its future business environment, and will gain an understanding of the unique problems and perspectives of operating in India.
