International Student Orientation Fall 2026
Mark the Date! New International Student Orientation is set for Monday, August 31, 2026

- Airport pickup dates: Thursday, August 27 – Sunday, August 30, 2026
- OIS New International Student Orientation: Monday, August 31 (free breakfast & lunch, raffle prizes) / 8 am – 2 pm
- OIS New International Student Shopping Trip – Monday, August 31, 3 pm – 6 pm (depart 2:30 p / 5:30 p) – indoor/outdoor shopping trip at Towne Place at Garden State Park Center – Towne Place – Garden State Park Retail
- Raptor Welcome Week: Thursday, August 27 – Monday, August 31, 2026
- Res Life Move-In Date: Thursday, August 27 & Friday, August 28, 2026 (First Year & Returning Students)
- Chancellor’s Campus-Wide BBQ: Thursday, August 27
- Fall 2026 Classes Start: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 (and start of Welcome Week)
The Office of International Students has arranged for free airport pickup for first-time, international undergraduate & graduate students, (F1 visa holders only), at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) only. Contact cm1618@camden.rutgers.edu to request a Fall 2026 PHL Airport pickup form.
We do not pick up in Newark or JFK, NY so please arrange for an Uber, Lyft, or taxi ride to the campus. If you are arriving in the U.S. for the first time and not being picked up by us at PHL, we strongly recommend you arrive during the daytime to gain familiarity with your surroundings and when transportation, food, etc. are more easily accessed.
