This form is to be completed by current Rutgers University-Camden international students who request verification of their F-1 visa status. The Immigration Status Verification Letter is typically used to obtain a driver’s license with the Department of Motor Vehicles (NJMVC or PennDOT), the Social Security Administration*, or a landlord/rental agency.
Requests for an Immigration Status Verification Letter will be complete in approximately one to two business days. Students will receive an email when the request has been completed by the OIS.
*Students who have an on-campus job and need to apply for a Social Security Number should us the SSN Letter found under the Forms tab.
